Can’t make it to the islands this year? Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered, were bringing the true spirit of aloha to the Sierra foothills with our First Annual Sunset Vineyard Luau — a festive, island-style celebration of wine, culture, food, and fire performances set against the backdrop of our stunning Placerville estate. This authentic, traditional luau will feature live performances, a full Hawaiian buffet, refreshing tropical drinks, and an incredible fire dance performance by a talented artist straight from Samoa, and a traditional Hawaiian pig roast! It’s the real deal — vibrant, soulful, and full of the kind of magic that can only happen when community and culture come together under the sunset. Hawaiian attire is highly encouraged, so bring out your most colorful aloha shirt or island dress and get ready to celebrate in style!
As you arrive at 4pm, you’ll be greeted by our hula performers with a lei — faux florals for General Admission guests and fresh orchids or shells for VIPs — along with a complimentary Hawaiian style sangria or frosé (wine slushy) to set the tone. Live Island music will fill the air as the sun sets over the vines, and the festivities begin with passed around appetizers during our cocktail hour, 4pm-5pm!
General Admission guests will enjoy community-style seating, one plate from our Hawaiian buffet at 5:30pm, and access to photo ops with the performers after 7:30pm. VIP guests will receive the royal treatment with VIP check-in line for a shorter wait time and a complimentary souvenir glass with your welcome drink! Did we mention private front-row seating for our hula show that starts at 6:30pm; no need to share a table when your group gets your own luxury spot to enjoy the evening in a more intimate setting. Our VIP guests will get exclusive early access to the buffet at 5:15pm and are welcome to go back for more with all you can eat privileges! At 7:30pm our VIP will end the night with the first sunset photos with our live performers!
